PDFs can now be read better on all eReaders with Briss
There’s hope for a lot of things coming into the world of eReaders. The tablets have not managed to win over their market completely but have in fact charged up the manufacturers all the more. Now, we have a new tool called Briss that is open source and works across platforms. The tool allows you to trim PDF files so as to accommodate the perfectly well on your eReader or tablet, no matter what the size. It allows batch trimming so you can do more trimmings in one go. It recognizes page margins, and I believe even gutter space that proves to be a major space hog.
For now, it is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. That’s pretty much everything, no?
