Pioneer has announced the AS-PS66, a new addition to its Happy Aqua range of waterproof audio accessories. An ideal accessory for those long bubble baths the AS-PS66 is more like a waterproof pouch with a speaker. The pouch is big enough to accommodate any iPod sized MP3 player which connects via stereo mini to the onboard speaker. The speaker is 57mm wide and delivers an output of 0.3 W. The unit measures 100×220mm and weighs approximately 350 grams. The Pioneer AS-PS66 goes on sale in Japan by late April for 4000 Yen ($ 40).
