PK100 Bionic Leg Orthosis from Tibion
Tibion has just introduced its PK100 Bionic Leg Orthosis at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting. The Bionic Leg is an intelligent, wearable, power-assist device for the leg, which actively supplements muscle strength to enhance rehabilitation therapy. Tibions PK100 Bionic Leg Orthosis detects user actions such as sitting, standing, walking and ascending/descending stairs. PK100 Bionic Leg Orthosis sounds like a good idea to regain one’s mobility along with a sense of independence and freedom. We still don’t know how much it will cost and when it will be available commercially.
