• Plastic bottles graduate from litter to cellphone chargers

  • Several complaints of how plastic bottles are clogging the eco-system as litter are now on the verge of being addressed with the arrival of The Bottle Charger comes in. This contraption transforms any used plastic soda or water bottle into a 5-watt charger that is capable of powering a smart phone. All one has to do is add boiling water in the bottle and the Blackbeard Unidirectional Constant Turbine (B.U.C.T.) creates electricity with the temperature variations, thus charging your phone while you’re busy kneading dough in your kitchen. The cell can extend battery life by 15 to 30 minutes depending on the temperature around the device. This can be a great help to those who live in unpowered civilizations or those terrains that are not conducive to electricity. This also offers a more sustainable source of energy for the eco-friendly to explore.
