Practice bot for dentists is totally creepy

This one is undoubtedly from Japan, not for the creepiness but the excellence of the concept. Called ‘Hanako’, this lady robot is designed specially for trainee dentists who aren’t confident about their hands. Hanako is smart, in the sense that she can sense pain in an almost realistic manner. She is trained to wince, drool and even suffer from sneezes and drools. Well that’s as real as real can get but then no one’s complaining.

She totally looks freaky and doesn’t have a good set of teeth either. So that’s twice as scary. Check the video of the demonstration.
