• PrePeat printer performs magic, erases old sheets to print new stuff and Poof your bank account is empty

  • I’ve worked in offices and seen the unnecessary wastage of ink and paper. Here’s the perfect solution to ‘green’ it out with – the “PrePeat” printer. This printer can reuse documents by simply wiping out the old data on it and reprinting new. Pop in a used sheet with information, hit the print button on your PC and presto, in seconds, in goes the old, out comes the new. Sure it looks like any old printer but this one is a magic printer. Ok it’s not really magic but it sure seems like it. Ok so I’ll spill the beans, the secret is actually the paper. It isn’t exactly paper but heat-sensitive plastic sheets. The printer uses a specially designed thermal head to remove printed data from the sheet and then prints the new data on it. All of this takes mere seconds.

While it will certainly reduce the need for traditional paper, cartridges and toner, this eco printer comes with a hefty price tag of about $5,517. That’s not ally. The company only sells the special sheets of paper in bundles of a thousand sheets which will set you back another $3,300. However on the plus side, and there is one, each sheet can be used up to 1,000 times. “PrePeat” printer for the win!
