Samsung announces the sleek, incredibly beautiful and power Gear S smart watch
Samsung strongly believes that the smart watch realm has tremendous potential. Keeping this in mind, the South Korean manufacturer has unleashed yet another extremely handsome smart watch, christened the Gear S! Besides being a drool-worthy piece of technology for its looks, the Gear S is 3G enabled. Simply put, this watch will continue to give out notifications, even when it isn’t connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone and when it’s out of WiFi connectivity! The Gear S packs 2-inch AMOLED screen as well as a dual-core 1GHz CPU. Deep inside its belly, this smart watch packs a 300mAh battery that Samsung claims can keep the device running for up to two days.
The watch runs Tizen, in place of Android Wear. Samsung has topped it with 4GB of storage and 512MB RAM, while keeping the device IP67 dust and water resistant. The Gear S is a perfect companion at a business meeting, a trip around the globe or a sweaty gym. The watch is expected to show up with the Gear Circle, Samsung’s latest endeavor in headphone manufacturing. The devices will be on display at the IFA 2014 show in Berlin soon! With this announcement, we’re expecting the jolly folks at Apple to run around helter skelter in search for a concept that matches Samsung’s latest gadgetry!
