• Samsung Ativ S Windows Phone 8: A first look

  • Colorful, neat and full of life, we finally see the coming of the Samsung Ativ S in all its 4.8-inch AMOLED glory. More importantly, the phone sports the sparkling new Windows Phone 8 operating system and a more than capable, 2,300 mAh battery. On first look, the phone is quite neatly laid out with the Microsoft logo adorning the main central button. This is flanked by the back and search buttons that are basically capacitive touch points. The rear reveals a neat battery cover in brush style and an 8-megapixel camera above.

In addition to the existing applications Samsung have added their own goodies to the phone, including ChatON and Music Hub. We give the tiled home-screen a thumbs-up and look forward to more 4.76 oz flagship device.
