• Samsung Galaxy S Phone Will Soon Get Android 2.3 Gingerbread Upgrade

  • The Galaxy series users have long been frowning upon the fact that Samsung has not yet started rolling out Android Gingerbread for their smartphones. The Korean tech giant has been working on it and as seen in an Android-dedicated forum, a leaked build of 2.3.3 Gingerbread for the standard I9000 iteration of the Galaxy S has come to surface. If you happen to have handset in the company’s service centre, it would be upgraded to Gingerbread. But there is hiccup here. The Galaxy S has been introduced in US with several variations and not all of them will be in for an upgrade. Well, I know this would really get people anxious as to how exactly Samsung is going to go about its Android 2.3 strategy but only an official confirmation will ease that.
