• Sanyo develops the smallest full HD display

  • sanep11
The days of watching full HD (1920 x 1080) on large Plasma and LCD screens are numbered as Sanyo Epson Imaging corp has developed a low temperature polysilicon TFT which is undoubtedly the world’s smallest full HD display at just 7.1 inches. The LCD features an advanced video engine AME (Auto-Movie-Enhancement) and the video circuit is optimized for mobile devices keeping the power consumption low. In addition to this the company has also developed a 2.6 inch display which supports XGA resolution (1024 x 768) primarily for use in mobile phones. It has a 180 degree angle of visibility, can display 260,000 colors and has a contrast ratio of 500:1.

Last but not the least Sanyo Epson has also developed a LCD with SRAM which can remember the last screen.
