• Self-made Nike MAG light-up shoes misses out on lace detail

  • The Back to the Future shoes had their time when we were all excited about the release. But what it takes to really bring the thrill to you is to go on and build your very own version of the shoes. Inspired by the original that was in turn inspired by Nike’s MAG shoes, the fanboy from Malaysia did a good job indeed. Named ‘S02′, the creator went in for McFly blanks and studded it with 32 LEDs in red, yellow, green and blue colors. He managed to stuff a 9V battery in the innards of the shoe and wiring to go with it.01174

Sadly, he missed out on one feature that would kill Nike’s offering too: the power laces. Shoot!
