• Sense-Roid, the jacket that hugs you back

  • The world we live in today can get extremely cruel at times. For times like those, when everybody hurts, hang on and hold on. We’ve just stumbled across the perfect way to make you go all fuzzy and nice, without having to pray for compassion from your fellow human beings. Developed by the University of Electro-Communications in Japan, the Sense-Roid jacket uses a dummy with pressure sensors that send out information in regards to position and intensity of a hug which the jacket in turn uses to replicate the actions on you. So, all you need to do is wear the Sense-Roid jacket, and hug the dummy as it hugs you back. Stroke its back, and it’ll do the same, for as long as you wish, without pulling out!

Oh, and yeah. Being caught hugging a mannequin can get pretty awkward at times.
