Sony unveils HMZ-T2 wearable display in Japan
Personal-entertainment systems have always had the general public interested, right since the conception of the Sony Walkman, a revolutionary device that allowed users to plug in headphones and listen to music on the go! The company has now unveiled the next-generation of personal entertainment technology, the HMZ-T2. In essence a head-mounted display complete with an ergonomic design including a comfortable headstrap and earbuds with 24p cinema support and to top it all, the HMZ-T2 also sports a “Clear” panel drive mode. Priced somewhere around $895 in Japan, Sony hasn’t announced a US price tag for the device as of now and the Tokyo Game Show will probably offer a peak at it.
