It’s been a while since we saw any new releases from Sony’s Walkman range. We were wondering if they’ve run out of ideas but at last there is something fans of the Walkman to look forward to. The company has announced the A850 which has a 2.8 inch OLED display, a 0.3 inch thin body, Sony’s S-Master amp, digital noise cancellation and earphones. Following up is another model called the S740. It has most of the features of the former sans the S-Master amp.

The Sony A850 Walkman will ship for $280 (16GB), $350 (32GB) and $467 (64GB) from November onwards. The S750 will ship from October for prices ranging from $163 to $233.
