• Sony Ericsson unveils 3D shooting phone, the Xperia Arc S

  • Well, we really haven’t figure d out the charm behind using the S suffix for smart phones these days, given that Sony Ericsson too decided to go down that road, with the new Xperia Arc S. an upgraded version of the previous Xperia Arc, the newer version sports a 1.4 GHz processor and a 3D-shooting camera! Also, unlike other 3D cameras, the Arc S doesn’t use two different cameras that give shots of two different angles. Instead, the phone uses Sony’s 3D Sweep Panorama system which can output 3D images shot with just one camera. Also, the images are best viewed on 3D screens, since Sony left out one for the phone itself. No news in regard to the pricing, though the phone will sport Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with 512 MB of RAM and an 8.1 MP autofocus camera.
