Sony Ericsson Z558
If Nokia and Motorola have succeeded in capturing your eye, Sony Ericsson is all set to have the slice of your favoritism. It has churned out a flock of beauties, amongst which Z558 poses to be the starter. The Z558 is Sony Ericsson’s first non-Symbian phone to offer a touch screen and stylus interface. the phone wins award for its sleek brushed metal and high gloss design coupled with bright 262k color touch screen. With an integrated .3 megapixel camera, there is 18MB of on-board memory upgradeable up to 1GB through SD cards. With its USB connection file streaming would be a mere “drag-n-drop” procedure. The touch screen interface makes it simple to input complex languages like Chinese.
The phone will hit the retail shelves in October in classy Expresso Black color. Sony Ericsson will be offering two versions, the Z558c for mainland China and the Z558i for other markets. We just hope the set of features doesn’t differ. No word on pricing and availability as yet.
