Sony NAS-SV20i and NAC-SV10i Wi-Fi iPhone/iPod Docks To be Available in March

It was at CES 2011 that Sony first announced about SA-N300 and SA-N400 HomeShare wirleess network speakers and two Wi-Fi network iPhone docks by the name NAS-SV20i and NAC-SV10i. Owing to built-in WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity, it lets users directly play music form BRAVIA Internet music services or from an iPhone/iPod Touch mobile device. You can also transmit music from the dock to other Sony Wi-Fi network speakers.The NAC-SV10i dock can connect directly with your home system and stream music from your mobile device either to the home system or the Wi-Fi speakers. Both of these are compatible with almost all versions of iPhone and iPod. If only iPad support was thrown in, it would have become the haven of entertainment. Perfect for both home and office environment, these docks functions as Media Servers allowing you to stream music from multiple sources like allowing like Pandora music services, docked iPhone/iPod to compatible TV’s, PC’s and more around your home. Going by the dimensions, NAC-SV20i seems to be the larger sibling with more powerful speaker with a power output of 20watts as well as the DSGX Bass Boost function.
Both NAS-SV20i and NAC-SV10i will hit the retail shelves in the month of march for a price tag of 300 and $230 respectively. Also Sony is going to unveil its RMN-U1 Wi-Fi universal remote control with integrated Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) and touch screen around the same time for $300.
