The contrast ratio is 15000:1. It has a brightness of 800 lumina via 400 watt Xenon lamp. It has a newly developed silent and efficient cooling fan which produces only 22 decibels of sound. Its size is 496 x 175 x 574. The VPL-VW100 will be available in December 10th for 1,365,000 Yen (US$ 10,500)- Via Sony/
