Specialized unveils world’s fastest e-bike, the Turbo
E-bikes aren’t necessarily slow. Sure they don’t leave your hair standing on end like them gas-guzzling crotch rockets or supercars. These do work as environment-hugging ways of commuting however. Now to speed things up a little bit, bicycle manufacturer Specialized has pulled the veil off the fastest e-bike today, the Turbo. Sporting a cutting-edge electricity-powered assist motor that takes this e-bike to speeds of up to 28 mph (45kmph), this one’s powered by a 342Wh capacity lithium ion battery that takes just 2 hours to charge up. Also, the Turbo uses regenerative breaking to further trickle in charge in its battery on the go. With an MT Carbon hydraulic system with carbon levers and 180mm rotors along with a Direct Drive rear hub motor, this powerfully fast e-bike looks great too!
