• Tokyo to play home to world’s first indoor theme park dedicated to manga and anime!

  • We love manga and a recent announcement by the Bandai Namco Group has left us on the edge of our seats! Soon, Tokyo’s Ikebukuro district will play home to the world’s first indoor theme park dedicated to the Weekly Shonen Jump comic magazine. Spread over an area of 6,168-square-meters, the park will open on the third floor of the World Import Mart building of the Sunshine City shopping complex and have areas dedicated to some of the most popular mangas including “One Piece,” “Naruto” and “Dragon Ball“.

The park’s name hasn’t been announced yet though from what we’ve heard, this one will be operated by Namco Ltd. and will also include the participation of anime studios that have given life to several manga titles that have been published in the Weekly Shonen Jump comic magazine.
