Toshiba to sell world’s thinnest and slimmest tablet, the Excite 10 LE from March 6th onwards

With the unveiling of the iPad 3 just around the corner, Toshiba decided to get a head start and has decided to pull the veil off its Excite 10 LE tablet in a few days time, on the 6th of March. The Android powered tablet will be priced at $529 and comes with a 10.1-inch HD display with a Gorilla Glass. Packing a dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, the Excite 10 LE also sports 16GB of internal storage, a microSD slot, a 5 megapixel camera on its back and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Using Android 3.2 Honeycomb, the tablet is upgradable to the upcoming 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and measures just 0.3 inches (7.7mm) while weighing 1.18 pounds (535g), making this tablet the slimmest and lightest from them all.
