• Toshiba unveils 3D laptop that requires no 3D glasses

  • One of the drawbacks of 3D technology is those bulky glasses that users need to wear. Toshiba has given 3D technology just the right tweak it needed all along, with the world’s first glasses-free 3-D notebook, the Qosmio F755. Sporting an Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDA GeForce 540M graphics, this one also packs Harmon Kardon speakers, a Blu-ray drive and HDMI output and is capable of 2D and 3D playback. Using an auto-stereoscopic display for 3D effect, the laptop also makes use of face-tracking technology with the webcam and customizes the image based on the viewer’s position! This sure seems to make 3D a whole more attractive than before, given that a glass-free viewing seems to be a lot more comfortable than before!
