Upcoming airline seats may offer climate-controlled comfort
Airline travel does all it can to spoil you with comfort and other luxuries. However, with what’s happening at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, we’re in for overkill of good treatment in future experiences. So, passengers will have the capability of travelling miles across the oceans with a climate control they prefer. This means that each seat will have its personal climatic settings put on and will use noiseless air inlets to control the temperature. In addition to this there will also be air purification, humidifying, and seat heaters.

What we wonder is if this technology will have the widespread acceptance across carriers. There’s always a change in climatic conditions for far flyers but for those who aren’t all that eager to make such far voyages, climate control will be nothing more than an unnecessary reason to pay more.
