Vending machines will soon have retina and thumbprint scans

Vending machines are never going to die. From the few Cents that we used to jab in for a bag of pop-corn to the modern day multi-touch renditions, these brilliant machines will serve us tirelessly. There are a few of these vending machines that are receiving a total revamp as far as design is concerned. Take this Samsung model (pictured) called Diji-Touch. It’s got an interactive touch-screen just like scores of other models that are introduced. There’s one report that heralds that arrival of vending machines with retinal scans and security measures such as linking up users’ credit cards with their thumbprints.

At the end of the day what we have are a bunch of very annoyed thieves. They’d better chop off the victims thumb along with his wallet.
