• Verizon Galaxy Nexus extended battery gives the phone a slight hump

  • Verizon Galaxy Nexus is the much-talked-about gadget off late and I’d rather feel uncomfortable if I hadn’t read something about it when start my day. The latest bit on this one tells us that Samsung is going to offer a slightly better 2100 mAh Li-Ion extended battery to those who purchase the Galaxy Nexus which improve the phone’s autonomy. As seen in the video put up folks from Droid-Life, this doesn’t make the phone gain a lot of inches or pounds. It still remains pretty slim even after the switch-over.

The Galaxy Nexus comes with a standard 1850 mAh Li-Ion, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer. As of now, we don’t have specifics as to what wonders can the extended battery do for the phone besides the few predictable tasks. Hopefully we’ll hear soon if the extended battery is really worth the $49.99 whenever Verizon decides to enjoy the cruel teasing and give this one an official launch.
