Wooden R2-D2 dock brings novelty to the theme
We’re tired of seeing gizmos and accessories that are seemingly inspired by the R2-D2 design and concept. From coffee machines to mundane pen drives, there seems to be no end to the attempt at being identical to the original bot from the Star Wars series. Yet, now we see a design marvel that stands out and projects the much loved droid as a classic piece of art. This is what we feel when we stare down at the wooden R2-D2 iPhone dock. This particular rendition is specially precious since it was handmade by Mario of Valliswood. This one’s fairly green too, since it is made using sustainable hardwoods from Croatia.

It’s 9 inches tall and opens its head to accommodate your iDevice. It doesn’t go well with the iPod Shuffle or the iPod Nano though. May be they’re too tiny to place themselves on this capable droid’s chipset.
