If you’re into luxury cars then luxury phones are pretty much on the cards as well. But when you have the option of a smartphone decked out in plush metals and materials to give it that exclusive feel just like the cars. However, even though you’ll very clearly see the resemblance of the famous raging bull emblem, the limited edition Lamborghini Antares smartphone has little to actually do with the cars. The Antares is made by the company’s luxury accessories lifestyle division Tonino Lamborghini and not Automobili Lamborghini, the guys who make the super cool cars.

The sequel to the Galaxy Grand series is pretty much what we were hoping to set our hands on and voila, it lives up to its name. For us, we look at the Grand series as one that can be accommodated in most budgets but offers all the grandeur of the big models (namely the Note and the S-series). The Galaxy Grand 2 for starts offers improved hardware, software and the similar faux leather design found on the Galaxy Note 3. It comes with a 5.25-inch HD display (1280×720 pixels resolution), runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, with 1.5GB of RAM, runs on Android 4.3 and offers S Translator, Story Album, S Travel, Sound & Shot, Group Play, Samsung Hub and Samsung Link. Head after the jump for more technical specifications.

Nokia are all powered up to roll out something new, in lines of the current series. This has been snapped and shared by @evleaks, a reliable source. It’s got a codename to it as well that goes by, ‘Normandy’. The source raises an interesting question, “A real Asha. Or Lumia?” It’s hard to really put this in one but at gun-point, Lumia would be my best bet. It could also be the hybrid that caters to both the series, drawing inspiration in design and specification from both. The Asha devices are affordable while th Lumia series have a distinct design and also the best of specs to show off.

After making an appearance in the wild in the form of leaked images, HTC has finally unveiled the gold version of its flagship One smartphone. And this time it hasn’t arrived in the insanely expensive 18 carat gold MOBO-themed HTC One iteration, but a proper fifth color option alongside its silver, black, blue and red designs. The images of the chassis of the Gold One was leaked back in September and we are wondering what took the Taiwanese smartphone maker so long to officially launch it. The popularity of the HTC One has slumped in the past few months which forces us to question, is it a good move? Will it renew the failing interest by cashing in the popularity of gold colored smartphones or is the company a little too late in the game?

LG’s upcoming, curved design smartphone, the LG G Flex has been getting a lot of attention, not because of just because of its shape but because some reviewers are putting it’s name to the test and findings have been quite interesting. We already covered a story showing you just how ‘flexible’ the G Flex really is when reviewers placed it on its front on a flat surface and applied pressure to straighten it out. It seems to be completely undamaged but there’s really no telling what the innards of the handset have had to deal with and what their condition is. But so far, no reports have come in discussing any issues post the pressure test.
