TakaraTomy has announced a dog pedometer which helps you manage and take care of your beloved pets health. No bigger than a Tamagotchi the product is made under supervision and guidance of veterinarians and dog trainers. Unlike pedometers for humans this one can monitor movement of four legs and has a small sensor which nullifies the shaking and nodding of the dog. The LCD screen doubles as a name tag and shows one of the 32 icons which illustrate the dog’s various activities during the day like sleeping, running, eating etc. The Pedometer runs on a button cell which is good for a month, it is available in four colors for 4725 Yen a piece ($ 55).
