Somewhere in distant, Eastern lands of China rose a revolution few could contain. Bearing testimony to this fact is the inspiring tribute in a brilliant laptop. It is infectious and is claiming many a wishlist across blogosphere. The applauded Acer Aspire R7 showed up in the company’s Computex booth, dressed in Star Trek colors. These special edition notebooks will be sought by the populous intersection of Star Trek fans and those looking to invest in a capable notebook. Engadget was kind enough to share a pretty revealing collage of this distant mystery. Given that one of these will up on eBay, we’re hoping for the best.


The Acer Aspire R7 Star Trek edition will be produced in just 25 numbers. One of these may go up on eBay from June 14th to 24th. I think that’s the closest you can get to one before owning it, if you’re lucky enough.
