Every once in a while we stumble upon some crazy ideas built out of everyday mundane stuff, and we are definitely talking about crazy-good that forces us to stop and take notice. Financial data and charts from stock market movements can be obnoxiously boring and meant only for tie-clad wonks. One Geraldine Juárez took patterns of market crashes caused by high frequency trading and fed it to music making software. The result, what she calls ‘Wealth Transfer’, is some uber cool music split into 3 neat tracks which are a mixture of some funky beats and amazing trance. She has recorded the tracks on a 10’ vinyl record. Check out the video in which she plays one of the tracks.
