Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is planning to drive a Hummer H1 powered hy Hydrogen fuel cells from the McMurdo Station in Ross Island, Antarctica, to the South Pole. The announcement was made at Stanford’s AlwaysOn conference in late July. Co-piloting the fuel cell powered Hummer will be Buzz Aldrin – the former Astronaut who walked on the moon back in 1969. The trip will be for a research project slated for December 2007. The entire expedition will be filmed in 3D for James Cameron.
