Apple fanatics in China now have something more to smile about, with the manufacturer planning to give the Siri software a touch of Mandarin. The iPhone 4S could soon support Siri in Chinese and will allow users to converse with their iOS phones in Mandarin (Putonghua). Support for Cantonese and Taiwanese Mandarin will be unavailable for now, though we do see Apple swinging in those languages too. That’s not all. To further exploit the massive Chinese smartphone market, Apple will include apps and local search support for Siri in China, making the iPhone 4S a perfect tool for a Chinese smartphone user.
