ASUS and Garmin have been dancing around the bushes for some time now with one main intention, that of developing a diverse cell phone product line that will fall under the Garmin-Asus nüvifone series. Not one but several Garmin-Asus nüvifone models are tipped to hit the market this year, and the first of these is the G60. It will be announced in the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona .

Asus bring its rather limited cell phone experience to the floor as their smartphones haven’t really caught the imagination of the world in the past so far, but hopefully this new partnership will bring some colorful results.
