What doesn’t count is the fact that it’s not too long till we see the Asus Eee Pad and the Eee Slate at CES. What does count is the fact that any kind of pre-release eye candy is good for health. In case of the Eee Pad and the Eee Slate there aren’t many excuses one can make. There’s surely enough good stuff buried in for the ardent waiter. There’s a USB 3.0 port in the side panel of the tablet. There’s also a sighting of a slide-out keyboard on another Asus device. Now what could that be or indicate?

Asus have surely given us a little more to rack our brains on and do some guess work before the mighty announcements. We’re too lazy for that. So we wait.
