We fathom the amazing processing capabilities of the Intel i5 processor, but we rarely regard that fact that the notebook we’ve had isn’t really the thinnest. Or would we even care to? Asus would disagree. Their new notebook called the U36 offers up to eleven hours of battery life, USB 3.0, Asus’ Super Hybrid Engine, Nvidia GPU with Optimus technology, and a 13.3-inch HD display. What’s more is that it also happens to be the thinnest yet, in the i5-using notebook world. It is made up of 19mm thin, lightweight magnesium alloy and hence weighs 1.44 kgs in weight.
The U36 also supports Wi-Fi connectivity and includes a five-in-one card reader to support memory expansion and data sharing. £699/$1,118.
