Auto Holy Water dispenser, Italy’s religious Swine Flu Prevention technique

Holy-Water220.jpg Swine Flu is something that every world citizen has to take seriously. Even the religious sects of the world have started taking measures to help out and not just by simple prayer. In Italy where about 30 swine flu deaths have been reported, the Catholic church has decided to intervene and offer some form of prevention. Through a method designed and invented by Luciano Marabese, the city has begun to provide its church goers with a form of what could be considered Holy Water automatic, motion-activated dispensers. Using an infra-red light, the otherwise traditional Holy Water trough that’s usually placed in front of the Church’s entrance, will automatically disperse water when a hand is placed under. This technology is similar to taps in airport or hotel washrooms.

The idea behind this is because church goers were afraid to dip their hands into the fountain believing that it could contain germs left there by others who were carriers. This hands-free Holy Water Dispenser could be considered a real God send.
