Bang & Olufsen’s latest offering, the BeoVision 8 television, is quite something. The standout feature is their detailing on the sound effects. Apparently when you watch the TV the sound seems to be coming out of the ‘ mouth of the person, rather than the speakers’, I guess we’ll have to wait hear and watch out for that claim. The TV is HD-Ready with resolution of 1366 x 768 and has multiple placement options. A new high-glare surface and low reflection coating of the television panel make sure that you can see the picture in any light. BeoVision 8 has both a high light transmission and a high black level, which is important to create the best picture possible on a LCD screen. The automatic picture control dynamically changes the TV’s black and white balance to suit the light conditions in your home.
Designed by David Lewis, the BeoVision 8 television from Bang and Olufsen costs £1,800 ($3,590) is not available as yet.
