According to report published on MSNBC, prices of the biggest flat-screen TVs are coming down as the smaller models get picked off the shelf faster. Apparently the demand for larger sets is taking a beating due to the price factor. The lead by small-size TVs will likely continue for the next few quarters as the economy continues to stutter. Unlike the predictions, where the 40″ TV was touted to be a winner, the 32″ TV overrides it in popularity while replacing conventional cathode-ray tubes. However this popularity may be short-lived because manufacturers are drastically cutting down the prices, which soon will spur up demand for larger sets.
