RIM seems to have been over working themselves to cater to all types of mobile phone users; it has come out with the all-new BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220. The quad-band EDGE flip phone comes with all the usual Blackberry features for the business users as well as the casual users. The phone features DataViz Documents to Go software suite preloaded, which allows you to edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint files directly on the handset. Uses a large SureType QWERTY keyboard, along with two high-resolution, light-sensing color displays. The phone supports Bluetooth 2.0, built-in Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) with support for UMA (unlicensed mobile access), High Speed USB 2.0 support. Also features a 900-mAhr battery, which provides for four hours of talk time and over 14 days of standby time. The phone is not just a communication device it also has a 2-megapixel camera with flash, zoom, and video recording, along with an accessible microSD/SDHC memory card slot that supports up to 16GB of storage.


The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 weighs just around 3.6 ounces will be coming two colors black and red and T-Mobile will be its official carrier. There is no word on availability or pricing or release date.
