I have no idea why Apple accessory makers TwelveSouth thought that their BookBook design was a good idea and I sincerely doubt that anyone younger than my grandpa (who couldn’t tell an iPad from his elbow) would ever buy one, but there you go. BookBook is a slab of dead cow, apparently hand-bashed to look like an antique book binding, although the zip is a bit of a giveaway. With BookBook you can try and fool people into thinking you are reading some literary masterpiece whilst sneaking a peak at something a little more cheeky on your iPad, but I doubt anyone would be fooled. One thing I do like about this product is that it is padded to protect your iPad, but that is the only good thing I have to say about it.
Fork out $70 and you can adorn your Apple iPad in a red or black leather BookBook.
