Cat is known for its rather rugged phones and the latest edition to the line of rugged smartphones is the Cat S60. The device offers a 4.7-inch display screen with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 CPU and offers the power of 3GB RAM. The most intriguing feature of the phone, other than its tough avatar, is the fact that it comes with a thermal camera, which will make give you Predator-vision. You can snap thermal shots between distances of 50 and 100 feet. For regular shooting, you can leverage the 13-megapixel rear shooter (with dual flash) and the 5-megapixel front camera. All your captures can be stored in the 32GB in-built storage. The Cat S60 is powered up by a 3,800 mAh battery. The die cast frame makes the device MIL 810G compliant. This means that it can operate 5 meters under water.
The Android Marshmallow-running Cat S60 smartphone will set you back $599 when it goes on sale this summer. Preview it at the Mobile World Congress.
