At the Display Taiwan 2009 in Taipei a local company CMO showcased an LCD panel with the highest contrast ratio in the world at an astonishing 80,000,000:1. It achieves the astronomical contrast ratio by using Local Blasting Imaging technology which makes the panel ideal for viewing sharp images.
