Belkin has introduced some cool new wireless routers that also have some really nice and easy-to-remember names. The first one is the ‘Surf’ router. This is a basic 802.11n 2.4GHz router that protects your data with 256 bit WPA/WPA encryption. Then we have the ‘Share’ that also has a USB port to connect with your external hard drive, thus giving you a chance to share your data easily. Next, we have the ‘Play’ router that is specially designed for gaming and provides with 5GHz dual band 802.11n. This brings about data speeds of up to 300 Mbps. Lastly we have the ‘Play Max’ router that extends the features of the ‘Play’ by adding two Gigabit LAN ports and USB ports to it. It also serves as a UPnP server.
The Surf ($50), the Share ($80), the Play ($100) and the Play Max ($130) all come with built in applications.
