Creative have made something rather cool; the Xdock Wireless iPod system. The whole setup consists of a main base station and several remote receivers (X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity Recievers) that can be connected to it as needed. The base has a universal iPod dock and can connect to the receivers wirelessly. So it’s perfectly possible to have receivers placed in different rooms and enjoy the beats flow across your house. It has a remote and plays music even at a distance of 100 feet. X-Fi Crystalizer and X-Fi CMSS-3D technology is used in the Xdock. The X-Fi Crystalizer helps make the sound richer by analyzing compression flaws and repairs it accordingly. Most MP3 compression standards have unclear sound files at the end of compression that have wavering bit rates and breaks in between. This seems to be the most striking feature of this system. Not everyone concentrates on improving the sound quality as a whole.
The Creative Xdock Wireless system costs about $200. the X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity receivers cost $100 each. If you go for both, a Creative Xdock Wireless and an X-Fi Xtreme receiver, it is bound to cost you less than $300. Expected to hit our shores by spring of this year, I feel this is worth a wait.
