Daikin has announced that all of its home air conditioning products that would be released from this fall will make use of the HFC32 refrigerant in a bid to reduce the effects of its products on global warming. This will make Daikin the first company in the world to use HFC32 which has only one-third of the global warming potential (GWP) of the conventional refrigerant R410A which is currently used in majority of cooling and heating equipment.
The company intends to provide technical information for the widespread use of HFC32 to meet the demands of each country, region, and each type of organization as much as possible. Daikin will continue to contribute to the prevention of global warming in the future by promoting the widespread use of the refrigerant in the right place.
