Digicube has launched the i-station UDIC an electronic dictionary for the Korean market. It comes preloaded with content from around 50 dictionaries and has a robust search engine. The UDIC has a 4.3 inch touchscreen, full QWERTY keyboard and a 30 / 60 GB hard drive. It is powered by an Alchemy AU 1250 processor and DVE (Dynamic Video Engine). The UDIC supports TTS(Text to Speech), native speakers’ pronunciation and translating service ‘i-TRANS’ as well as movie captioning service ‘Video DIC’. Pricing and availability of the UDIC is not known yet.
