The Dodge Demon concept is actually a finely honed roadster aimed at the budget priced open air vehicle market. I hope it’ll give the Mazda MX-5 and GM’s Pontiac Solstice/Saturn Sky combo types a run for their value. Rightly dubbed as the “roadster with an attitude” by the maker, it is ideal two-seat convertible with a sports streak. “While the iconic Dodge Viper is a dream car for many, the Dodge Demon is designed to be an attainable dream car,” said Jae Chung – Dodge Demon Principal Exterior Designer, Chrysler Group. The vehicle is powered by Chrysler’s 2.4-liter world engine found in several of its U.S. offerings which kicks out 172 hp and 165 lb-ft of torque along with a six-speed manual gearbox. Top speed is an estimated 130 mph. Not bad at all!

The officials say an SRT version could also be offered with a 300 horsepower four-cylinder from the Dodge Caliber SRT-4. How realistic is this concept is something to speculate about!
