We stumbled across this cheery toaster recently, inspired by the official mascot of Japan’s NHK television station, Domo!


Called the Domo Toaster, this one has the mascot’s wide-open-mouth and its comical surprised expression that’s bound to scare your two-year-old every morning. Lightweight and brown in color, just like Domo, this toaster assures a jolly start to a difficult day. The toaster is priced at $49 a pop and is available only in one color. Also, if you haven’t noticed yet, the Domo Toaster imprints the mascot’s face on your toast, allowing you to bite down on NHK’s Domo every morning!
