If you’re looking for a comfortable Stereo Bluetooth handsfree kit, here’s one worthy of consideration; enter the Elecom LBT-NS10 series. The in-ear earphones feature a neck-strap design like the LG Tone Infinim series but far less futuristic looking. Using a simple canvas strap (480mm in length) that’s available in color options – blue, pink, red and white – the LBT-NS10 is a simple looking set of wireless earphones but not without sophisticated features.
To start off with, these sets are Bluetooth 4.1-compatible corresponding to A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP profiles. They also feature NFC functionality that’s built into the rear of the strap along with the battery pack that the company says should last for about 9 hours on calls and 8 hours of non-stop music playback. It has functions to control volume, audio playback, changing tracks and even answering or rejecting calls. It even supports SCMS-T copyright protection with voice codec support corresponding to SBC. LED indictors will let you know when you’re set is connected or when you’re running low on juice for the battery, which can be charged via the provided micro USB cable. The cable length for the earphones is 270mm which should be more than adequate for comfortable head movements, even though the photos don’t seem to indicate that. Each earphone has a 9mm (diameter) driver unit. The set weighs in at just 32g which makes for comfortable traveling.
The Elecom LBT-NS10 series, in all four color options, will be out sometime in mid-July and will be priced at about $63 (7,690 YEN) which is quite a value for money.
