For its October issue Esquire decided to release 100,000 issues with the world’s first E-Ink magazine cover. E-Ink display uses the same technology used in Amazon Kindle and Sony Reader. The batteries are good for 90 days and would last longer if you store the magazine in a refrigerator. It looks pretty cool and 20 years down the line when E-Ink technology would be mainstream one of these mags would sell on EBay for a hefty sum.
